Achievements such as "shift output exceeding 2000 tons, daily output exceeding 3900 tons" have brought unprecedented enthusiasm and a sense of achievement to every worker at the hot rolling factory of Zhongjin Company. Behind these remarkable results is the successful implementation of the hot rolling L2 system upgrade and transformation project.
With the technical support of the Beijing Ya Zi Oubo team and the joint efforts of all the staff of Zhongjin Company, this L2 system upgrade and transformation project was completed in just seven days, with the entire line ready for linkage on the fifth day. At 8:55 AM on June 2nd, the production line was successfully restarted, and the first steel was successfully rolled into a coil, with a production rate of 80% on the first day, which is highly efficient.
During the suspension for construction, the team completed a series of key tasks. First, the transmission system underwent a comprehensive hardware inspection, optimization and adjustment of transmission device parameters, and backup upload to ensure the stable operation of the production line. Second, the automation system was fully updated and iterated, with hardware in the rough rolling, fine rolling, and coiling areas replaced during construction, and the full integration of WinCC was achieved, significantly enhancing the system's level of automation and control precision. Finally, the process control system was completely renewed, with new hardware deployment, core rolling models, and data collection tracking systems replaced, and communication testing with automation, MES, and instruments was successfully completed, providing strong support for the efficient operation of the production line.
After the hot rolling resumed, system operators and maintenance personnel quickly adapted to the new system environment and fully utilized the advantages of the new system. The level of automation and intelligence in the production process has been significantly improved, reducing human factors and enhancing production efficiency and product quality. At the same time, the new system also has stronger data analysis and processing capabilities, which can monitor the running state of the production line in real-time and provide more accurate data support for production decisions. With the stable operation of the system, it has also achieved initial results in "expanding varieties, unblocking logistics, and promoting transformation", with shift and daily production records set repeatedly. On June 17th, a record of 3969 tons was set for the highest daily production of Zhongjin hot rolling this year. The indicators of width and thickness meet the requirements, and the same board difference and plate type have been improved. The hot rolling factory will continue to integrate internal and external resources and technical forces to further optimize the system according to the production process requirements of Zhongjin Company, contributing to the company's quality improvement, market breakthrough, and quality optimization.
